Vince Biegel Sidelined With Broken Foot

Biegel had to undergo surgery after meeting with the team’s physicians. “Vince has such a passion for football and loves playing the game.… What you appreciate is that you know he will do everything in his power to get back on the field as soon as possible,” said UW coach Paul Chryst in a press release.

Ben Simmons Breaks Ankle

broken foot5Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers “rolled” his right ankle while playing during the last scrimmage of the 2016 Training Camp at Stockton University in late September. Simmons had an X-ray and MRI done to review his foot condition, and it was later determined that he sustained “a fracture of the fifth metatarsal bone of his right foot.” His playing status for the team was unknown at the time and his foot required further examination to consider his long-term status.

About Plantar Warts

Plantar warts are the result of HPV, or human papillomavirus, getting into open wounds on the feet. They are mostly found on the heels or balls of the feet.

While plantar warts are generally harmless, those experiencing excessive pain or those suffering from diabetes or a compromised immune system require immediate medical care. Plantar warts are easily diagnosed, usually through scraping off a bit of rough skin or by getting a biopsy.
